Georgetown Catholic Cemetery
This cemetery is listed on various other cemetery sites as having been located adjacent to the Catholic church in Hurtle Road, Georgetown.
However there have been no burials at the Georgetown Catholic church.
The Jesuits were the first owners of the land, they had 4 acres.
They of course, buried their own down at Sevenhill.
However, at one time there was a statue of the Sacred Heart in the back paddock.
This was broken and the base was left in situ.
